About

Jerry Waller

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a techno-fetishist. It’s just that technology really is creeping into new places and in new ways all the time. Cellular phones, for example, have more powerful capabilities than personal computers did fifteen years ago. They are nearly everywhere, and there are some incredibly innovative ways that people are using them.

A little bit more about me:

In May 2006 I received my Master’s in Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

I was an Associate Programmer/Analyst for Phase I Biostatistics at PPD Inc.

I received my BA in English with a minor in philosophy from Concord University.

During the fall of 2005, I was an intern in user interface design at SAS Institute.
My interests include user interface design, accessibility, mobile computing, information architecture, knowledge management, and user perceptions of privacy.
