A Value Sensitive Design Investigation of Privacy for Location-Enhanced Computing (PDF)

I read over this a little earlier today, and I think it provides a great framework for system designers to begin to contemplate any effects on privacy. Of particular note is the “directionality of information flow”: location information flowing inwards to the user is more likely to remain under their control. The location information flowing from the user outwards, however, is more susceptible to collection, interception, and analysis.
